Description
An electrical progress tracker that turns daily site records into the quantities for your monthly progress claim. Every BOQ item runs down the side and every day of the month runs across the top. Log what was installed each day; the tracker does the rest.
How the electrical progress tracker works
- Enter the contract quantity once on the BOQ Quantities sheet, or paste it straight from the Electrical Installation BOQ.
- Each day, type the quantity installed against each item.
- 12 month sheets follow your claim cut-off day, whether month end or a day such as the 25th. Weekends are shaded, and days outside the claim month are greyed out and ignored.
- The Summary gives each month’s quantity, total to date, % complete, remaining quantity and status: Not started, In progress, Complete or Over BOQ qty.
- A Site Diary records weather, labour, hours worked and lost, instructions and inspections.
Built for the monthly claim
- Rows match the Electrical Installation BOQ and the Electrical Payment Certificate line for line.
- Installed to date and this month are laid out ready to paste into the payment certificate. Nothing is retyped.
- 25 spare rows for items that are not in the BOQ.
- Starting part-way through a job? Enter the quantities installed before Month 1.
Why daily records matter
When progress is measured line by line, claims are easy to check and hard to dispute. And when a project runs late, the daily quantities and site diary give you the facts to support an extension of time claim.
