A daily progress tracker template in Excel for any trade or scope of work. Paste your BOQ items and quantities in once, record what is installed on site every day, and the tracker works out each month’s quantities for your progress claim. For civil, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fit-out, building works or any scope without a dedicated tracker.

Claims are easier to agree when the quantities come from daily records. Everyone can see what was installed, when, and how much is left.

What’s included in the progress tracker

• 12 month sheets with a column for every day of the claim period. Weekends are shaded.
• Set your claim cut-off day (month end, the 25th or any day). All 12 periods follow it automatically.
• Month total, cumulative to date, % complete, remaining quantity and status (not started, in progress, complete, over BOQ quantity) for every item.
• Summary of quantities per month with progress by section.
• Choose the claim month and get previous, this month and cumulative quantities for the claim.
• Site diary: weather, supervisors, tradespeople, apprentices, labourers, subcontractors, hours worked and lost, work done, instructions received and inspections.
